1. Liquid castile soap

3. Baking soda

4. Glycerin

How to make Natural Shampoo

1. Glycerine and liquid castile soap

Ingredients

  • Liquid Castile soap – 1/2 cup
  • Glycerine – 1tsp (do not use if you have oily hair)
  • Water – 1/2 cup

How to make it?

  • Take a bowl and all the ingredients.
  • Mix it until all the ingredients blend well.
  • Now you can store this in a shampoo or similar bottles.

It is thinner than the regular shampoo; however, it will help in clearing excess oil and grime from hair and the scalp.

Essential Oils Shampoo

Ingredients:

  • Liquid castile soap – 1/4 cup
  • Jojoba oil – 1/2 tsp
  • Peppermint essential oil – 1/8 tsp
  • Tea tree essential oil – 1/8 tsp
  • Distilled water – 1/4 cup

How to make it?

  • Take a bowl and add water.
  • Now add all the ingredients and stir it gently.

Your shampoo is now ready to use. Pour it in a reusable shampoo bottle or other similar ones.

Essential oil shampoo is one of the best natural ways to refresh the scalp and give you a sense of freshness.

Aloe-vera gel moisturizing shampoo

Ingredients:

  • Liquid castile soap – 1/4 cup
  • Aloe-vera gel – 1/4 cup
  • Glycerin – 1 tsp
  • Avocado oil – 1/4 tsp
  • Distilled water – 1/4 cup

How to make it?

  • Take a bowl and pour water in it.
  • Now add all the ingredients to the bowl of water and mix it.

Note: Make sure to shake the shampoo bottles before use.

Apple Cider vinegar anti-dandruff shampoo

Ingredients:

  • Liquid castile soap – 1/4 cup
  • Apple cider vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Apple juice – 3 tbsp
  • Ground cloves – 6
  • Jojoba oil – 1/2 tsp

How to make it?

  • Take all the ingredients and mix them well in a grinder or blender (use low).
  • Wet your hair with warm water and use the mixture to shampoo it thoroughly.
  • Rinse with warm water.

You can store the mixture in refrigerators by covering it properly. Throw or discard the mixture after 3 days.

Coconut milk shampoo

Ingredients:

  • Liquid castile soap – 1/4 cup
  • Coconut milk – 1/4 cup
  • Peppermint essential oil – 20 drops
  • Olive oil – 1/2 tsp
  • Distilled water – 1/4 cup

How to make it?

  • Take a bowl, pour all the ingredients, and mix them well.
  • Your shampoo is ready, and you can store it in a reusable shampoo bottle.

Baking soda shampoo

Ingredients:

  • Baking soda – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 1 cup

How to make it?

  • Take a bowl and pour water and baking soda into it.
  • Mix it well.

Your baking soda shampoo is ready.

Note: Do not use this shampoo regularly. You may use it as a clarifying shampoo to remove the buildup of dirt or other harmful substances. If you are switching from commercial shampoos to natural homemade shampoo, you may use this one to remove any chemical buildup from scalp or hair.

Note: Shake well before using any of the shampoos mentioned above as the ingredients may separate themselves after storing it.
