1. Almond oil

3. Shea butter

4. Zinc oxide

Almond and coconut oil sunscreen

Ingredients:

  • Almond oil – 1/2 cup
  • Coconut oil – 1/4 cup
  • Shea butter – 2 tbsp
  • Beeswax – 1/4 cup
  • Zinc oxide – 2 tbsp
  • Red raspberry seed oil – 1 tsp
  • Carrot seed oil – 1 tsp

How to make it?

  • Take a large glass jar.
  • Add the almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, and red raspberry seed oil to the jar.
  • Mix all the ingredients.
  • Take a medium saucepan and heat it with some water in it.
  • Take the jar with the ingredients and put it in the saucepan with water.
  • Stir the ingredients in the jar slowly as they melt and mix well together.
  • Once all the ingredients are properly mixed, pour zinc oxide into it and stir it.

Almond and coconut oil is now ready to use. Store it at room temperature; you can put it in the refrigerator to increase its shelf life.

Coconut Oil and Shea Butter Sunscreen Lotion

Ingredients

  • Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
  • Shea butter – 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Vitamin E oil – 1/ tsp
  • Jojoba oil – 1/2 tsp
  • Zinc oxide – 2 tbsp

How to make it?

  • Take a large saucepan, fill it with water up to few inches.
  • Now take another jar or smaller pan and add coconut oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil to it. (You can also use a double boiler).
  • Heat it until all the ingredients mix well and occasionally stir while it is on heat.
  • Once all the ingredients melt, remove it from the heat and put it aside to cool.
  • Now, add zinc oxide and vitamin E oil to pan or jar with all the ingredients and mix well.

Your coconut oil and shea butter sunscreen lotion is ready to use. Store it in a cold and dark place.

Coconut oil and aloe-vera gel sunscreen lotion

Ingredients

  • Coconut oil – 1/4 cup
  • Shea butter – 1 cup
  • Zinc oxide – 2 tbsp
  • Aloe vera gel – 1/4 cup
  • Walnut extract oil – 20 drops

Instructions

  • Take a saucepan and add coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera gel, and walnut extract oil to it.
  • Heat the saucepan on a low or medium flame until all the ingredients melt and mix well together.
  • Occasionally stir the saucepan with ingredients while it is on heat.
  • Once ingredients melt and are mixed properly, remove it from the heat and put it aside to cool down.
  • Now add zinc oxide and stir it until it is mixed properly with the other ingredients.
  • Your coconut oil and aloe-vera gel sunscreen lotion is now ready to use. Store it in a cold and dark place.

Note: Make sure to check if you are allergic to any of the ingredients before using it for making the sunscreen lotion.
