The Tea tree essential oil serves as the best makeup removal solution for normal to dry skin types. The makeup removal solution can be made by mixing 1/4 cup canola oil with ten drops of Tea tree oil into a sterilized glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Ensure to shake the bottle well so that the solutions blend well together. Use a cotton pad to help wipe the solution across the face to remove makeup. Thereafter, rinse the face very thoroughly and follow it up with a refreshing toner.

  • For relief from psoriasis:

It is better to dilute or dissolve the potent form of essential oil along with any preferred choice of carrier oil (coconut, sweet almond, olive, or jojoba). It is advised that, for every 1-2 drops of the Tea tree essential oil, add in approximately 12 drops of the carrier or base oil.

Avoid using Tea tree oil near the eye area, as the most sensitive part of the skin on the face is present around the eye. Always do a patch test before using the oil on the facial skin. Stop using the oil in case of any redness, inflammation or itching.

1. Coconut oil for clear skin:

Coconut oil is considered the best home remedy for clear skin. Applying slightly warm coconut oil using a cotton pad by gently massaging it until absorbed by the skin gives good results. The coconut oil is an excellent natural moisturizer for the skin. It has incredible antibacterial properties which help the skin from infections and has powerful radicals which help retain the glow of the skin.

2. Detox water for healthy and clear skin:

Detox water which contains ingredients like; 2 liters of water, I sliced cucumber and one lemon made into slices and few mint leaves. Sipping the water all day long will help detox the body from within which will ultimately reflect on the skin giving a long-lasting healthy skin. This remedy works because cucumber is a cooling agent for the body and helps the skin. The Lemon helps to restore the balance in your digestive system, therefore eliminating one of the most common reasons for developing spots and acne, and the Mint leaves to aid in regulating indigestion and clearing any internal infections.

3. Apple cider vinegar for skin:

One way to use apple cider vinegar is to add one Teaspoon to a glass of water and drink every day in the morning. Another method would be mix 1 part of apple cider vinegar with 1 part of water and apply the same onto the skin using a cotton pad and leave it overnight(3). The acids present in the apple cider vinegar helps exfoliate the dead skin cells and reveals a fresh and healthy layer of skin cells.
