  • Sterile plastic gloves
  • Yellow mustard

Procedure

  • Apply generous amounts of yellow mustard into the sterile plastic glove.
  • Insert your palm into the glove.
  • Ensure that the burnt area of the finger is covered with yellow mustard.
  • Let the glove stay for an hour.
  • You will observe that the burning sensation and the pain come down very quickly.
  • After this, take off the gloves and wash your hands with cold and clean water.

Method – 1

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon of water
  • A small container to mix both the above
  • A clean bandage

Procedure

  • Add 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard into a small container.
  • Add ½ tablespoon of water to it.
  • Mix well to a consistent paste.
  • Apply this mixture on to the burnt area.
  • Cover this area by tying it with a clean bandage.

  • ½ tablespoon of yellow mustard powder
  • ½ tablespoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • A small container to mix the above
  • A clean bandage

Procedure

  • Take ½ tablespoon of yellow mustard powder in a small container.
  • Add ½ tablespoon of Turmeric powder to it.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of water to it.
  • Mix well to a consistent paste.
  • Wash the burnt area under cool running water.
  • Apply this mixture on the burnt area.
  • Cover the burnt area by tying it with a clean bandage.
  • Leave overnight.
  • Wash with clean and cool water the next morning.
