  • Lavender essential oil – 25 drops

3. Minty Air Freshener


  • Orange essential oil – 10 drops
  • Peppermint essential oil – 8 drops

4. Calming Air Freshener


  • Lavender essential oil – 25 drops
  • Chamomile oil – 10 drops

5. Light Citrusy Air Freshener


  • Lemon essential oil – 25 drops
  • Lime essential oil – 10 drops
  • Grapefruit essential oil – 25 drops

6. Aromatic Air Freshener


  • Eucalyptus essential oil – 20 drops
  • Lemon essential oil – 25 drops
  • Tea tree oil – 2 drops

7. Earthy Air Freshener


  • Grapefruit essential oil – 30 drops
  • Clary sage essential oil – 15 drops
  • Patchouli essential oil – 8 drops

How to Make Air Fresheners?

All these air fresheners have a simple way of making and have the same procedure.

  • Just add all the ingredients to 1 1/2 or 2 cups of water.
  • You can add them in a bowl or a spray bottle and mix well.
  • It is better to pour ingredients into a spray can and add water, as it prevents the evaporation of the essential oils while mixing.

Adding rubbing alcohol or vanilla extract can help in better mixing of the oils and water. You can use either one of them based on your preferences.

Make sure to shake well before using; if not, the oils may float on the top or may not come out of the spray as expected.
