  • Mint Toothpaste
  • Bandage


  1. Apply a dab of toothpaste on the bruise
  2. Cover with a bandage to avoid staining on clothes and bedsheets
  3. Leave it overnight
  4. Remove the bandage in the morning and wash with water

How much to use?

Do this every night for two to three days.


It helps in increased blood flow to the bruised area by breaking the clot(2). There will be a significant recovery overnight. Toothpaste also helps in reducing the swelling in the bruised area.

  • 1 toothbrush (Medium bristled)
  • Mint Toothpaste (required amount to apply on the bruised area)
  • A clean and a dry bandage


  1. Apply a generous amount of toothpaste on the bruise
  2. Gently massage the bruise with the toothbrush in a circular motion
  3. After this, Cover the bruise with a bandage and leave it overnight.

How much to use?

Follow this procedure 1 time a day by massaging for 2 minutes.


This massage with toothpaste promotes blood flow and helps in the bruise to fade quickly. The healthy blood carries chemicals that will clean up the bruise.

  • 1 tablespoon Toothpaste
  • 1 tablespoon Sunscreen lotion
  • A small bowl to mix both the above
  • A bandage or a clean cloth


  1. Add 1 tablespoon of toothpaste into a small bowl
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of sunscreen lotion to it
  3. Mix well to an even consistency
  4. Apply this mixture on to the bruised area and around it.
  5. Cover the bruise by tying a bandage or a clean cloth to it
  6. Leave it overnight
  7. Remove the bandage the next morning and wash it with clean water.

How much to use:

You can follow this procedure 1 time a day for 2-3 days.
