Dr. Cathy Connors
Dr. Cathy Connors practiced psychology for over 20 years when yoga “took over” her life in 2009. During that year she did her first teacher training and fell in love with the practice.
She started teaching, opened two studios and continued to purse more training. She went to India for the first time in 2014 and has been back 7 times to learn from her main teacher Anand Mehrotra , founder of Sattva Yoga.
She loves all styles of yoga, but her passion is sharing the practices of meditation, breath work, mantra, and especially kriya. She has found these practices so powerful for healing for things such as anxiety, depression and trauma.
These practices also elevate states of consciousness and that is the main reason she practices – to connect to the divine within and without. She loves supporting her students in aligning to their truth and taking action based on what they intuitively already know in their heart.
