Are you satisfied with the things happening around you? Are you at peace? Is your mind full of positive hopes and thoughts for a new, changed, and better life ahead?

The answer to all the above questions is directly No!!!!

If it is so then, this is for you.

Mental Health

What is Mental Health? (1) Is it really important? Do our thoughts affect our health? If yes, does it affect only our mental health or overall health?

Let us understand it in this way, if something happens suddenly in our life, assume, we are children, and our best friend goes away and do not contact for a day, a week or a month, the one with whom we used to spend the most of our time. Will it affect your health?

Yes, for sometimes you may reduce your eating, you will not enjoy or love your favorite tasks; As it might have affected your trust, love, and care for people.

It may bring negative thoughts in your mind that will inevitably affect your mental health and your overall health resulting in frequent mood swings, loneliness, stress, or may lead to severe depression. With time, we will surely learn to live with it and come over it by involving us in different activities and making more friends.

It will be easier at that stage as we are in our growing stage, we can adopt the changes easier than at the young or adolescent age. But, it is never impossible to adopt the change at any age.

Change is Important for Life!!

We all have listened to this phrase and experienced the same many times. This lockdown and pandemic have affected us suddenly in the same manner as we have seen in the above example. But is it really impossible to get over it or just some effort is required to make Everything normal?

Undoubtedly, this lockdown is affecting people more mentally than physically, As it is teaching the people to take care of their diet and lifestyle and providing them with a lot of time to adopt the same effectively. But somewhere it is failing in maintaining the mental health of the people.

The sudden decisions of lockdown and unlocking create confusion in people’s minds to decide for anything, whether for their work or career. It feels like Everything is going normal one day, and suddenly the next day, the worst news appears.

It is a normal human nature to start deciding for the coming moment, day, week, month or year in the present. But, in this situation, if someone plans something for the next day before sleep, he cannot even imagine what can happen when he wakes up the following morning.

Hence, these all factors and happening affect a person’s mental health in a very major form. And the mental health of an individual, never only affects him but all those who are connected with him in any way.

As a mentally disturbed person starts to become negative, act negative, and think negatively, and that all ultimately are witnessed by the people living around him or are connected to him through anyway. These days, the major source of connection is social media.

A negative person always shares negative thoughts; negative pictures define the negative aspect of anything that happens, and so on, which somewhere affects other people and trigger the negativity in some. It is a proven fact that bad things can be learned more easily than good ones; similarly, bad thoughts attract people more than good ones.

Thus, one person’s mental health can ruin the positivity of at least 6 out of every 10 people in an easy manner resulting in the majority.
