2. Lavender Oil
Another essential oil that can help in the reduction or clearing of ingrown hair is lavender oil. Shaving creams that consist of lavender oil reduce and discourage the growth of ingrown hair.
Mix lavender oil with coconut oil in an adequate amount and also use tea tree oil on the affected area.
Exact quantity to prepare lavender oil mixture is as follows
- Lavender oil – 7 drops
- Coconut oil – 12 drops
- Tea tree oil – 12 drops
Mix all the ingredients mentioned above and store it in a bottle or jar for further use. Apply a small amount of blended oil on the affected area after a hair removal like waxing, scrubbing, or shaving. Doing this will lessen the growth of ingrown hairs, and gradually it will disappear with a short period.

3. Chamomile Oil
Also known for its bright blue color, Chamomile Tea was used as a medicinal herb. It is used to cure various diseases and skin ailments. It contains an oil called azulene which works as an anti-inflammatory agent.

4. Frankincense Oil

Mix a few drops of this to any lotion or cream and applied to the affected area. A mixture of frankincense oil(2) with coconut oil or jojoba oil can do wonders in the treatment of affected skin.
